Do I need an ARGB controller if my motherboard already has lighting headers?
No, if you have enough free headers for the strips and fans you plan to run. Once the headers are used up, or the board has none, a controller or hub from Cooler Master, NZXT or SNOWMAN gives you the channels instead. Some of these, such as the SNOWMAN hub, come with a remote so no software is needed.
What is the difference between the PC lighting and the room lighting in this category?
The PC lighting covers parts that mount inside or on the case, such as LED strips, ARGB controllers and hubs, and a lit PSU cable from Lian Li. The room lighting is the Govee wall panel range, which mounts on the wall behind a desk. Many buyers combine both.
